This is a great Teyla fic, and you don't see them that often. I'm just now getting around to reading some of the ficathon stories, and I started with this one. What a great beginning. :)

I love how Fana just assumes that the Atlanteans asked Teyla to lead them. That's great. The fact that she is the leader of her people gets pushed aside too often. And it's great that Teyla manages to teach John even when he's not looking for it. It's so true to canon that John thinks everything revolves around him. LOL.
