Gilmore Girls: 6.22 Partings

*sigh*

At least I knew that I would be going *sigh* at the end of it. I think it was about time for Lorelai to find her balls and put a stop to this April dance of avoidance that Luke has been doing, but going and jumping into bed with Christopher? Now that was just a bad choice all together. And I really really dislike Logan and Rory together. Again, I found myself rooting for Mitchum in the elevator. Because, seriously, Rory you're not that important. Good for you for thinking so, but he has a point that Logan if he's going to become a tolerable human being he needs to get away from Colin an Finn. You're not the end all be all of the Huntzberger world, Rory. Get that out of your system.

Oh if only Logan would stay in London. Alas, since he's signed on for next season, I know that that is a futile hope.

At this point I'm really glad that we're going to get some fresh blood in the writing chair. I've hated what the Palladinos have done to these characters over the last two years. Because Jesus, the Rory-Lorelai fight? Lorelai would never have allowed it to go on as long as it did - she would've gone an episode, maybe two, then showed up at Yale and forced Rory to talk to her. Lorelai has never been this passive-aggressive and for some reason they Palladinos have turned her from the strong, capable woman to the same passive-aggressive stereotype that's usually on tv. Stop killing my strong women!

Looking forward to seeing something better next year with some fresh blood.
