Out of all your fandoms, what's your favourite season finale? Why?

Hands down, 2.22 "Two Cathedrals" from West Wing. It's one of those episodes that I can watch over and over. From the flashbacks to Jed & Mrs. Landingham when they were younger, to Jed's speech in the National Cathedral, to Mrs. Landingham telling him that if he was scared then 'God Jed, I don't want to know you', I think the entire ep is the best hour of television I've ever seen. Now, most people's fav scene from it is the National Cathedral speech, but mine is the very end of the ep when they're asking if he's going to run again and Leo says 'Watch this' and Jed turns away, smiles and slips his hands into his pockets. For a show that depends so much on dialogue and banter, they showed more with that small gesture and answered the question without answering it. I get chills when Leo says 'Watch this'.

As well, I can't listen to Dire Straits - Brothers in Arms without having a wistful little feeling for the ep.

Best hour of television EVER.

My absolute favourite part is the montage itself. Jed and Charlie without their coats, and the rain, and that shot of all of their feet walking together.
It really is indescribable.
