It's raining. And the power at work keeps going on and off. I want to go home since it's just a blah day.

But on the bright side! youTube!

And I have discovered that Taylor Mali wins at life. Gotta love the poetry slam.

Yeah, that second one is SO getting sent to my mother, heh.

Speaking of YouTube: Hewlett Wins a Spacey. They aired an ad for this while I was watching SG1 on Space a couple of hours ago, with Hewlett at the very end, and I started laughing, heh.

I thought of your mom when I saw that, and then I had an image of her doing a poetry slam, and then, well, my brain broke.

Yes, spastic!Hewlett is quite amusing. But, um, what's a Spacey? I'm guessing it's a kind of People's Choice Award thingy?

Kind of -- Space is Canada's answer to the SciFi Channel, and the Spaceys are their own little awards show. Half of the categories are viewer votes (like Favorite TV Character) and half of them are decided on by the people at Space. Being temporarily Canadian, I got bored and voted a few weeks ago, heh.

...And I must've missed the fact that it's already aired, 'cause they've also got clips up for Favorite TV Show and the opening skit. Heh.

(Would just like to point out that SG-1 wasn't nominated for any of these. Thought you'd appreciate that, *snerk*)

So, I guess that ours would have to be called a Skiffy or something? *snickers*

If it's comperable to SciFi, then how the hell did Jack Bauer get on there, unless there was the season where the US was fighting Alien Terrorists and I just didn't realize it? Or is this just proof that Jack Bauer is so awesome, he gets in EVERY category?

Aww. *pets SG-1* Poor things. *looks innocent*

Dude, now I've got Hewlett presenting an award with 'And the Skiffy goes to...' stuck in my head. Thanks.

The Spaceys are kind of flexible with their definition of 'scifi', heh. PotC3 is on there for best movie, after all, *lol*

Pft, SG-1 won lots of Spaceys earlier -- just not this year, heh.

No prob, man. I do my best. At least it's not going into 'Skippy' which makes you think of peanut butter, which just leads to a whole new set of issues :)

So I'm guessing the Spacey definition is 'anything we damn well please'? *lol*

Yeah, pretty much, heh. If I remember correctly, Favorite Kick-Ass Character went to James Bond, *lol*

Mmm. James Bond. Damn straight. Delicious.
