I don't think I can express how happy I am to be home. Visiting family is alright. Driving six hours each way with five people plus luggage stuck in a five person car is... not my idea of a good time. But thankfully it's over, and I'm back home, and I'm going to go kiss the walls or something equally absurd but not care because I'm not in a car.

I'm very happy that Odd Man's Bones was well received for the Teyla ficathon, because *whew* the pressure of writing for someone else? Equal parts neat and nail-biting, because you don't want them to hate it. I haven't seen the one written for me yet because it's 'delayed'. Kinda makes me sad, just cause I busted my butt to get mine done on time, but hey, things come up. Hopefully it'll get posted soon.

But I'm really glad I did the ficathon. I rarely write Teyla, and it was fun to play with her. I enjoy the character and now I want to play with her a bit more. That and I just have a weakness for writing myth/story/folk tales/etc so getting to write the 'Odd Man' folk tale just pushed my buttons in all the right ways *lol*
