I am so incredibly bored tonight. It's always obvious when the internet goes from bristling with activity to the glorified crickets. Blah, crickets. At least I got new West Wing tonight, if not Grey's Anatomy.
The West Wing, 7.15 'Welcome to Wherever You Are'
You know, I see a lot on the chatter boards that people thought the ep was slow and that nothing much happened, but I greatly enjoyed it. Maybe it's because it gave me flashbacks to election day on my congressional campaign - which no, we weren't flying places, but the general 'ahhh!' and chaos is applicable to any federal level election. I loved Bon Jovi on there, just for the sheer entertainment of the parallels with his pimping for JohnJohn last cycle, and that Lou's schoolgirl crush on him was just darling. I mean, I'd be following him around too - I don't deny it. Got a giddy little thrill of him in Raleigh during the last cycle, but I digress.
I'm also wishing that we got Santos in Robin Hood tights. Leno was onto something.
I'm surprised they sent Mrs. Santos out by herself to things like that. I mean, I know she needs to make appearances, but at something like that? She's just not the right face to put out. And then, when they throw her into a situation like that, they're surprised she can't stick to the storyline - that they probably didn't really inform her of anyway? I agree with the sentiment that they are the largest disenfranced bloc we have today, but you just gotta feel bad for the woman being thrust out there. Blah, she just makes me babble. Move on to Toby.
And how happy was I that Toby had significant screentime? Huck and Molly in lil O's outfits? Precious. Yes, if they're Yankees fans they'll be happier in the long run, but go O's. (Can you tell I give them hometown love? *lol*) And besides, Andi can't have her kids in Yankees clothes for trick or treating if the media's out there. Nationals, maybe. But O's are Maryland!love.
Speaking of Andi, I'm convinced that she was the one who leaked the information about the shuttle to Toby. I thought it as soon as he was sitting outside her house and he goes 'can I come in now?' with that Toby urgency that never turns out good. And then she just solidified it when they were talking about implicating his brother and Toby says that he's not going to lie and she goes 'So is that what you're going to tell your kids?' with that hateful expression. It was one of those 'is that how you're going to explain that mommy's in jail?' looks. I mean, because what's Toby's choice? Mar his dead brother's name or put both Huck and Molly's mom and dad in prison? I think it was Andi. The look on her face was just too much to make me think otherwise. I really hope they pick that storyline up again. I do miss Toby.
And... Santos' kid puking at the trick or treating? Made me laugh so hard. All the kids on tonight were fantastic.
I already know that next week I'm going to bawl. I loved Leo. The character is just so rich. And yes, I'm thrilled at the Josh/Donna preview, but it's all about the Leo for me. Besides, I'll get really thrilled when Danny comes back whenever and he and CJ can go jump off that cliff. They hold a special place for me *lol*
