chasingkerouacYou know, I don't consider myself a terribly domestic person, but there are very few things more satisfying to me than cooking. Something about knowing that I created this, with my own hands -- I love it. And it's not like I usually have someone to cook for (save for the times when ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
spazzula is kind enough to eat what I cook *lol*) so it's only for me. My roommates just don't appreciate the home cooked food appeal and many times would rather choose McNuggets over, say, my baked salmon and rosemary potatoes.
It's enough to give someone a complex *lol*
But that's one of my favorite things about being home for the couple days I am during my fall travel season -- cooking dinner. And breakfast. And lunch, if I didn't have to be at the office.
And that's my timer. I should go eat :)
