One of those little things that you realize. I've lived up here for God knows how many years. A ridiculous number of years, and yet, I've never done two things. I've never been to the Cherry Blossom Festival, and I've never been to the Preakness. Why have I never done these things?? This really should be corrected next year. *snuggles poor injured local horse Barbaro*

What's Preakness?

The Preakness Stakes is part of the Triple Crown races, after the Kentucky Derby but before Belmont. It's run at Pimlico, outside of Baltimore. Barbaro is a Maryland-raised horse, so we root for him cause he's the hometown horse *lol*

Each year I tell myself that I'm going to the CBFestival, but then something comes up and I end up out of town, or boggled in work and I think next year I'm just gonna have to blow off anything that comes up and go.
