Oh Lost.

You disappointed me the first half of the season, for I couldn't care less about Jack & Kate, and all the Sawyer in the world couldn't make up for focusing on those boring two. The Others were dull and we didn't get to see near enough of the other folks on the beach.

And then you went away for a while, and I kind of forgot about you. I got distracted by the pretty of Bones and the cotton candy fun of America's Next Top Model.

Then you came back, and I DVRed you, cause I was going to watch you, honest.

And yesterday I finally did. All of you, in time to watch tonight's season finale.

You made up for the loser first half of the season with Desmond! And you made me actually care about Charlie.

Oh Charlie! I teared up when the water was coming up. I kept hoping that maybe, maybe Desmond's vision was wrong and he wasn't going to let you die, but then you did. Because Desmond's visions weren't wrong, and he couldn't keep you alive forever. And you made me actually care about you, Charlie. I haven't been particularly fond of you, just kinda meh, not for or against, but I'm for you now. Totally for you, even if it's a little too late.

And it's not too late for Locke because seriously, dude won't die and I love him for it.

Was Walt actually there or was he acting as the Voice of God, for lack of a better term? I'm assuming the latter, but you never can tell.

And Yay for Danielle finally reuniting with Alex.

And the flashbacks... weren't really flashbacks? They were flashforwards? Alternate reality where they get off the island? Why is Jack going batshit crazy? And if you're going to do an awesome, confusing, mindhurting flashforward, why waste it on two people as dull as Jack & Kate?? It's wrong.

And Ben... what made you think they were going to believe you? Seriously, dude. You thought they were going to listen to you. Idiot.

And I really want Desmond to find Penny. I just really really do. They give me a warm fuzzy, seriously.

And Juliet... I greatly dislike you, and I don't trust you as far as I can throw you, but you do a very good job of making me hate you. And if that is your purpose, good form. If that is not your purpose... well... I don't like Kate either.

Hurley! Way to save the day! People keep telling you you can't come along, but Charlie only said that cause he loved you and Sawyer only said it because, well, he's Sawyer. He's a jerk and he knows where to throw the punches. But you saved the day in your awesome VW Bus that people didn't believe was out there in the first place and you totally win at life!


You hurt my brain, Lost, but for the first time in a long time, you made it hurt so good.

Hubby was emailed a massive blowup of the newspaper article Jack kept rereading in his flashforward: HERE.

Not that it helps much.

He also keeps pointing out that Jack referred to his father as if he's still alive in two separate instances, although they could be explained away as Jack being a smartass or Jack being high on painkillers (and yes, I DID in fact wiki oxycodone -- so Jack turns into House, only not nearly as cool, *snerk*)

Oxycodone is hella fun. Jack is no House, though, you're right. House rules, where as Jack... well... at least he's not Kate.

I think he was just high and crazy. Or maybe somehow reality gets reset if they go back. Who knows. I like it when it hurts my brain so good.

I don't have nearly enough icons to have an appropriate one for each of my shows, so Kavan will just have to do. I hope you understand *lol*
