Oct. 5th, 2007 11:05 pmBut on the other hand, we have Atlantis.
Pros:
Weir became 14 times more interesting than she had been in the entirity of the series. Way to be badass and mechanical, and she finally proved to me that she could be calulating and decisive and smart -- things they'd been beating me over the head with in exposition since Day 1 but never bothered to show me. Rock on, Weir.
At least Weir got a blaze of glory episode for her farewell instead of, oh, exploding tumors.
Cons:
I just don't like the Replicators as a villain. I like me some Wraith, they need to come back. Replicators bore me.
Speaking of, stop being back the mind fuck, not!reality, ten minutes that don't really happen shit. It only confuses me and makes me not want to pay attention. Boohiss.
Sam. I'm sorry, she breaks my glee just being there. "It actually has five moons! You can't take a picture! Look at me I'm brilliant!" *shakes head* I just... don't like her. She doesn't belong there. And she gives me a nervous twitch just looking at her.
I have to admit, I will probably forget that Adrift and Lifeline exist. They didn't really make an impression on me. Good moments and flashes in an otherwise dull two-parter. Hell, I liked Adrift more than Lifeline. At least the first one had that adorable little Pakistani doctor who I seriously hope doesn't become a redshirt.
I liked No Man's Land so much more. Didn't hurt that that one had Lorne in it, commanding a fucking spaceship.
This show sooo needs more Lorne.

Date: 2007-10-06 03:33 am (UTC)They're going to be 'those episodes where Weir left'. And I agree, I'm glad she got to be awesome for a little bit there, even though the mind fuck thing is sooo old and they need to stop doing it.
Lorne is in Doppleganger! Which, btw, is a GREAT episode :D

There can never be enough Lorne. Never!
